As Partner-in-Charge of our Ocean Isle Beach office, Lee Grissom brings over 20 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in audits, consulting, and advisory services for governmental entities, nonprofits, and private-sector clients. As a CPA, he also works with individuals and businesses providing tax return services. His deep commitment to providing exceptional client service and his extensive knowledge of industry regulations have made him a trusted advisor for a wide range of clients throughout North and South Carolina.

Lee oversees a diverse portfolio of audit engagements, including community colleges, foundations, local governments, and employee benefit plans, and nonprofit organizations. His expertise spans all phases of the audit process, from planning and execution to reporting and compliance, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service and transparency. He works closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and provides tailored solutions that address their financial and operational needs.

In addition to his role as Partner-in-Charge, Lee is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and holds a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification, which enhances his ability to identify and manage risks, improve internal controls, and streamline audit procedures. His technical skills, combined with his strong relationships with clients, have earned him a reputation for reliability and expertise.

Lee lives in Sunset Beach with his wife, Katie, and their two daughters, Claire and Emma. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through sports and golf, cooking, reading, traveling, relaxing at the beach, and occasionally unwinding with a premium cigar.
